North Sumatra Regional Police has dispatched 9,000 joint personnel of police, military, and government unit to secure the holiday of Christmas and 2024 New Year Eve in North Sumatra. “There are approximately 9,000 joint personnel involved in 2023 Lilin Toba Operation,” says North Sumatra Regional Police PR Chief, Senior Superintendent Hadi Wahyudi on Sunday (12/10/2023). Hadi explains his party have also prepared 193 posts, consisting of security post, integrated post, and service post. Those posts will be spread throughout North Sumatra. “North Sumatra Regional Police ensures Christmas will goes solemnly, joyful, and secured. Same goes for holidays in celebrating 2024 New Year Eve,” said Hadi in conclusion. The North Sumatra Regional Police PR Chief also implores community to actively joint the effort in maintaining the area free from criminal actions, drug flow, and other violations. (ad/ri/pr/nm)
