inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The West Java Regional Police and Bogor Sub-regional Police have arrested AT, suspect of domestic violence case on Tuesday (8/13/2024) night. The husband of an Instagram influencer, Cut Intan Nabila, will be charged with multiple articles.

Head of Indonesian National Police (INP) Public Information Bureau, Brigadier General Trunoyudo Wisnu Andiko says that AT was arrested in one of the hotels in South Jakarta. He says that AT was about to run away after finding out that his cruel actions against his own wife had gone viral.

“When we arrested him, he was in one of the hotels in South Jakarta and was planning to run away. Now he has been secured and questioned by Bogor Sub-regional Police,” said Trunoyudo in his statement on Wednesday (8/14/2024).

Trunoyudo says that investigators will entangle AT with layered articles after identifying as a suspect.

Other than charging him with Article 351 of the Criminal Code clearly states that abuse carries a maximum penalty of 5 years in prison, also applies to the Domestic Physical Violence (KDRT) Article, Article 44 paragraph 2 of Law 23 of 2004 with a threat of 10 years in prison and the Violence Against Children Article, namely Article 80 of Law Number 35 In 2014 concerning amendments to Law Number 23 of 2002 with a threat of 4 years and 8 months plus a third.
