Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. President Joko Widodo will prioritize local investors to invest in Nusantara Capital City (IKN).

"We still have many local investors, and we aim to prioritise local investors first," says President Joko "Jokowi" Widodo responding to when Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) to enter IKN on Wednesday (8/14/2024).

On that occassion, Jokowi also states that after August 17th, the groundbreaking for IKN project will continue.

In the plenary meeting on Monday (8/12/2024), President Jokowi says that current the investment value for IKN has reached 56.2 trillion IDR.

He says that there are 55 investors that have done the groundbreaking, with six investors invest in educational sector, three in health sector, 10 in retail and logistic sector, eight in hospitality sector, two in energy and transportation sector, 14 in office and bank sector, nine in residential and green areas sector, and three in media and technology sector.

Meanwhile foreign investors will be able to invest in IKN during the second cluster.
