Lumajang Sub-regional Police Chief, Police Grand Commissioner Adjutant Boy Jeckson Situmorang said police have examined eight witnesses for the case of Probowangi train accident that killed 11 victims in Lumajang, East Java. “We have examined eight witnesses, including the two locomotive operators who were working at the time,” says Lumajang Police Chief on Wednesday (11/22/2023). According to him, police still could not conclude the cause of the accident as the police still have not examined the minibus driver as he is one of the key witnesses of the accident. Police reveals that the mental state of the driver is shook following the accident. “After we examine the driver, we will hold an open case for our comprehensive investigation,” conclude the police chief.
