Police Hunt Five People from the 185 Kg Synthetic Tobacco Syndicate

Greater Jakarta Metropolitan Regional Police and South Jakarta Metropolitan Departmental Police are chasing five suspects of the wanted list of synthetic tobacco drugs syndicate after arresting nine perpetrators in Pandeglang regency, Banten province, and Bogor and Jagakarsa, South Jakarta.   "We will keep chasing them even though they are entering mouse hole", Chief of Public Relations and Press Division of Greater Jakarta Metropolitan Regional Police, Yusri Yunus, at the Headquarter of South Jakarta Metropolitan Departmental Police, Monday (31/5).   Police discover two initialled people out of five in the list: G and P, with a different role. G is the main perpetrators and marketing controller at the social media. Yusri stated that nine captured people do not know each other, including G.   Meanwhile, another wanted person initialled P as production and CCTV controller. "He even has codes through CCTV who reports to the top, to the P", Chief of Public Relations and Press Division concluded.   Meanwhile, other wanted people have various roles such as cook, courier, and accomplice, which now fled. Chief of Public Relations and Press Division said that, as a syndicate, the network is an illegal drugs distribution cartel controlled by the youths.   The indication, Chief of Public Relations and Press Division, comes from the captured suspects who are all between 20 and 24 years old. The discovery of the case by the Narcotics Investigation Unit of South Jakarta Metropolitan Departmental Police began with the arrest of KRP in Jagakarsa on Wednesday (10/5), which was a drug abuser.   Two days after KRP's capture, police later caught IA in the Tangerang regency, which sold the drugs through social media. IA's arrest was conducted after tracking social media accounts through cyber patrol of the Narcotics Investigation Unit of South Jakarta Metropolitan Departmental Police.   Provided by IA's clues, police continue developing and arrested AM in Pandeglang, Banten, which also an administrator of a social media account in Instagram used for the transaction. From AM, police then captured AH, which allegedly distributing synthetic tobacco from AM to be marketed.
