inp.polri.go.id - Rembang. Police confirmed the discovery of the body of a woman wearing a civil servant (ASN) uniform, identified as JRD (27), on the breakwater in the eastern area of Tasikagung Port in Rembang City, Central Java.
"The discovery of the body of a woman, believed to be wearing a brown ASN uniform, was at the waterbreak east of Tasikagung Port in Rembang," explained Rembang Sub-regional Police Chief, Superintendent Dhanang Bagus Anggoro, in his statement on Tuesday (8/12/2025).
He explained that the discovery began with a witness, a fisherman who was about to fish in the area, suddenly saw a brown cloth that, upon closer inspection, confirmed to be the body of a woman.
He said the fisherman immediately reported the incident to the police, who coordinated with the local Basarnas (National Search and Rescue Agency) to recover the victim's body. The body is currently undergoing a medical examination at the morgue at Dr. Soetrasno Hospital in Rembang.
He further stated that an external examination revealed a fracture on the left arm, bruises on the forehead, and foaming at the mouth. Preliminary results indicate no signs of violence.
"We are still awaiting the official autopsy results from the Central Java Regional Police medical team, with an estimated time of approximately two weeks," he said.
