inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Jakarta Regional Metropolitan Police has not yet scheduled an examination for comedian Pandji Pragiwaksono after his stand-up comedy show "Mens Rea." He was previously reported for alleged incitement.
The Head of Public Relations for the Jakarta Regional Metropolitan Police, Senior Superintendent Budi Hermanto, stated that they received a total of six police reports. All of these reports are still under investigation.
He explained that investigators are first examining the statements of the complainants. After that, investigators will question witnesses who saw and heard the reported events firsthand before moving on to the accused.
"Of the six reports, the complainants and the witnesses are different in each report," he told reporters on Wednesday (1/28/2026).
In addition to witnesses, Budi explained that investigators are also examining the evidence which the reporter recorded the Mens Rea show into a flashdisk. These recordings will be examined further.
"Is this evidence the result of a recording? Is the recording fabricated or edited and then adjusted? We'll take the evidence to an institution certified by a digital forensics laboratory," he said.
