"An investigation is underway," said the Head of Public Relations for the Jakarta Metro Jaya Regional Police, Senior Superintendent Ade Ary Syam Indradi, on Tuesday (8/26/2025).

He explained that the car was badly damaged after being attacked by dozens of people. The incident began when BB had just left the DPR complex heading for his office and turned under the flyover near Senayan Park.

Dozens of demonstrators then blocked the road and immediately vented their anger. The crowd attacked the luxury car with stones, pieces of wood, and even their bare hands.

The windshield was shattered, and the bodywork was dented. The situation escalated before the victim finally managed to escape.
