Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. A joint team of psychologists from the Jakarta Metro Jaya Regional Police and the South Jakarta Metropolitan Sub-regional Police are providing trauma counseling for the family of Alvaro Kiano Nugroho, a six-year-old who went missing in March and was later found dead in Pesanggrahan, South Jakarta.
“We are accompanying the family with the psychologists from the Metro Jaya Police and the South Jakarta Police’s medical unit. The goal is to stabilize the family’s emotional and psychological condition.” Pesanggrahan Police Office Chief Assistant Senior Inspector Seala Syah Alam said, as cited by antaranews.com
Police said the trauma healing support will continue indefinitely until the family shows signs of recovery. Officers are also awaiting DNA confirmation for public disclosure.
The investigation found that Alvaro’s stepfather, identified as Alex Iskandar, was responsible for the child’s murder. Police revealed that the suspect allegedly acted out of jealousy toward his wife.
