Inp.polri.go.id - Tabalong. Tabalong Sub-regional Police have arrested a woman alleged to be a pimp and a land lady in Mabuun, Murung Pudak District.

Tabalong Sub-regional Police Chief, Superintendent Wahyu Ismoyo says that the rented house was used by the suspect as a prostitution place.

"The rented house was used by several women who comercialized themselves," says Wahyu on Wednesday (8/14/2024).

Meanwhile, the Head of Criminal Investigation of Tabalong Sub-regional Police, First Police Inspector Danang Eko Prasetyo, led the raid on the house and from the investigation result, police found that guests pay 50,000 IDR to 100,000 IDR for the service.

Suspect will be charged with the crime of prostitution as referred to in Article 296 of the Criminal Code carries a maximum prison sentence of one year and four months or a maximum fine of 15,000 IDR.
