inp.polri.go.id - Surabaya. The Surabaya Sub-regional City Police raided a room at the Midtown Residence Hotel that was being used as a venue for a gay sex party. The raid took place early Sunday morning (10/19/2025).

"We were securing a gay sex party at the hotel," explained the Head of the Surabaya City Police Community Service, Superintendent Erika Purwana Putra, when confirmed on Monday (10/20/2025).

He stated that dozens of men were detained at the scene. They included guests and organizers of the event.

"A total of 34 people were detained," he said.

He added that the dozens of men are currently undergoing intensive questioning at the Surabaya City Police Headquarters.
