Following the initial investigation on the deadly traffic accident in Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road, police revealed the chronology behind the accident involving Daihatsu GrandMax, Daihatsu Terios, and a bus. The Head of West Java Regional Police Public Relations Senior Superintendent Jules Abraham Abast says that the incident began when the Daihatsu GrandMax from Jakarta was going to the side of the road due to its machine breaking down. “The GrandMax who was in the contraflow towards Cikampek was having trouble. They were then trying to go to the side of the road on the right side,” said Abast. Suddenly, from behind the car was hit by a bus. The crash caused the car to catch fire. “Then came Terios hitting the bus due to sudden stoppage,” said Abast in the story's conclusion. (ad/ay/pr/nm)
