13 Victims of Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road Accident Are Being Investigated in the Hospital

Inp.polri.go.id – Jakarta. Head of Indonesian National Police (INP) Traffic Corps, Inspector General Aan Suhanan says there are 13 body bags that are being identified following the deadly accident on Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road. The accident occurred at around 07.04 am involving Daihatsu GrandMax, Daihatsu Terios, and a bus. “In total there are 13 body bags that are being identified. Inside there are a team from Indonesia Automated Fingerprint Identification System (Inafis) and Karawang Hospital Forensic Team to identify the victims,” says Aan at Karawang Hospital on Monday (4/8/2024). Stated by Aa, there are six bodies who are in good condition, while the others were in a very bad shape. “There is data from our Inafis team which states one of the victims is from Kudus,” says Aan. Furthermore, the bus passenger and its conductor, who also fell victim to the accident, have been evacuated to Rosela Karawang Hospital. In finding the whole truth behind the accident, police will perform Traffic Accident Analysis for the investigation. However, through CCTV cameras, most of the chronology of the accident has been discovered. (ad/ay/pr/nm)
