inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Jakarta Regional Metropolitan Police has suspended the detention of TikToker Figa Lesmana (FL), one of the suspects in the provocative content that led to the riots at the end of August. 

The suspension of FL's detention is an important part of the Indonesian National Police (INP) efforts to enforce the law based on humanity, professionalism, and adherence to the principles of humanitarian justice.

"Investigators have suspended the detention of suspect FL," said Jakarta Regional Metropolitan Police Chief, Inspector General Asep Edi Suheri, Thursday (10/9/2025).

Asep said the suspension was carried out through a careful legal review process and took several aspects into account. FL was released on Friday (10/3/2025).

According to him, this suspension was made based on humanitarian considerations and the investigative process. 

From the investigative aspect, all information required by investigators has been processed optimally and FL underwent the examination process cooperatively and respected legal procedures.

"From a humanitarian perspective, we need to convey that investigators are considering that the person concerned is a mother and has to take care of her toddler," explained Asep.
