Inp.polri.go.id - Tangerang. The Indonesian National Police (INP) is tracing the origin of raw materials for a large-scale international network of ecstasy factories in the Lavon Swan City Cluster Escanta 2 Housing area Number 5 KP Kawaron Girang, Tangerang Regency, Banten.

"The development steps of the joint team are related to where are the goods coming from. Where are they coming from? For the manufacture of ecstasy in Central Java and Banten," explained Head of the Criminal Investigation Board of the Indonesian National Police (INP) Police Commissioner General Agus Andrianto, quoted from Antaranews, Friday (2/6/23).

Police Commissioner General Agus Andrianto said investigators from the Criminal Investigation Board were currently carrying out in-depth investigations regarding the origin of the raw materials received by the perpetrators in Tangerang Regency and Semarang City, Central Java.

"For the total number of suspects arrested, there are four people, two from Tangerang and two in Semarang. Two of the perpetrators are still on the DPO (wanted list) who are suspected of being the masterminds of making the ecstasy," he said.

Police Commissioner General Agus Andrianto added that his party would continue to anticipate the illicit traffic of narcotics and psychotropics in various regions in Indonesia by continuing to cooperate with the Directorate of Narcotics Interdiction, Customs and Excise, and the Directorate of Narcotics of the Regional Police (Polda).
