Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Indonesian National Police deployed motorcycle units to deliver humanitarian aid to isolated villages in Central Aceh on Thursday, ensuring disaster relief reached residents cut off by damaged infrastructure.
The operation targeted Ketol, Bintang, and Rusip Antara sub-districts, where floods and landslides severed road access.
“We hope this assistance can ease the burden of our brothers and sisters affected by the disaster and give them strength to endure,” said Central Aceh Sub-regional Police Chief Superintendent Muhamad Taufiq on Friday (25/12/2025), as quoted by antaranews.com.
The aid distribution was led by Central Aceh Police, supported by Aceh Regional Police Mobile Brigade (Brimob) officers, using police motorcycles to navigate narrow and damaged routes. Assistance included food packages and steel wire cables provided by Indonesian National Police (INP) Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo to help restore temporary crossing access after a bridge collapse.
