Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Indonesian National Police (INP) officers introduced a creative, community-oriented approach to Christmas 2025 and New Year 2026 security by wearing Naruto popular Japanese anime costumes at the Old Town security post in West Jakarta on Wednesday (24/12/2025). 

The initiative aims to maintain public safety while creating a welcoming atmosphere for visitors in one of Jakarta’s busiest heritage tourism areas.

“This concept helps people feel safer and more comfortable while allowing us to stay close to the community,” said Tamansari Metropolitan Police Office Chief Superintendent Riyanto, as quoted by antaranews.com

The themed deployment was carried out by the Tamansari Police, supported by community members and Saka Bhayangkara volunteers. Officers conducted foot patrols, delivered public safety reminders, and monitored visitor activity throughout the area.

Despite the playful appearance, Chief RIyanto confirmed that all personnel followed standard operational procedures and remained fully focused on security duties.
