inp.polri.go.id - Bekasi. Bekasi City Sub-regional Metro Police will conduct a repeat reconstruction on the incident of seven drowned teenagers in Bekasi River.

Head of Bekasi City Sub-regional Metro Police Criminal Investigation Unit, Police Assistant Superintendent Audy Joize Oroh says that the repeat reconstruction was due to information about a cavity at the place where the seven jumped. In addition, the location where they jumped is the confluence of the Cikeas and Cileungsi rivers.

“We may have to do repeat reconstruction after all the results of the investigation into the discovery of the seven bodies have been completed," he said when contacted by journalists on Friday (9/27/2024).

He explains that currently the police investigators are still examining the 22 delinquents who have been arrested by the police. Furthermore, police investigators will also question the parents of the seven drowned teenagers.

“As the seven families are still mourning, we will have to wait as we are first examining the 22 delinquents arrested by our unit,”  explains Audy.
