Deputy for Protocol, Press, and Media of the Presidential Secretariat, Yusuf Permana told reporters in Jakarta, Sunday (5/25/2025), that the PK-GRD presidential plane carrying President Prabowo was scheduled to land at the Royal Malaysian Air Force Airport, Subang.
In Kuala Lumpur, the President would attend a number of meetings, including panel sessions, retreats, and meetings with representatives of the ASEAN parliament, youth, and business. President Prabowo and a number of ASEAN leaders will also discuss a number of strategic issues in the region.
The 16th BIMP-EAGA Summit is a sub-regional summit between Indonesia, Brunei Darussalam, Malaysia, and the Philippines, while the 2nd ASEAN-GCC Summit is a summit between ASEAN and the Gulf States (GCC).
Then, the 16th IMT-GT Summit is a sub-regional summit between Indonesia, Malaysia, and Thailand. Finally, the ASEAN-GCC-China Summit is a summit between ASEAN, the Gulf States, and China, which was held for the first time by ASEAN, the GCC, and China.
"President Prabowo's presence at the 46th ASEAN Summit series confirms Indonesia's commitment to strengthening cooperation and maintaining stability in the ASEAN region. This conference is also expected to strengthen Indonesia's cooperative relations with ASEAN countries," said Yusuf Permana.
