President Prabowo has also instructed all ranks, both domestically and representatives abroad, to take the necessary steps related to the safety of Indonesian citizens (WNI) in the affected areas.

"So for the safety of Indonesian citizens, the President has ordered all his ranks to anticipate and immediately move if there are things that need to be done to evacuate Indonesian citizens there," said Juri at the Ministry of State Secretariat Building, Jakarta, Tuesday (6/24/2025).

In addition, Juri also said that President Prabowo continues to emphasize Indonesia's position as a non-aligned country that prioritizes the principle of peace over armed conflict.

The Head of Indonesian State is also said to be making various efforts to encourage a decrease in the escalation of the conflict in the region.

"So in this case, Indonesia's position is a position that wants peace, peace is much better than war that brings victims on both sides," he concluded.
