Inp.polri.go.id – Jakarta. The General Election Commission (KPU) asked for the Regional Head Election to implement a green campaign. The statement was conveyed by the Commissioner of KPU Idham Holik during the launch of Regional Head Election for Bali.

He says that the green campaign is also meant to preserve the beauty of Bali that is known for its tourism.

“I am quite sure that in Bali, the participants of the election have already prioritized the campaign concept oriented in preserving nature, not only for the aesthetics,” said Idham on Monday (5/6/2024).

The green campaign meant by Idham is the use of environmentally friendly props, and not installing the props on the tree. Idham warned that those who nailed their props on the tree could be processed by the Election Supervisory Body.

In addition, Idham also stressed that the green campaign will not only be applied in Bali, but also in other regions due to the concern of global warming.
