Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta.  Indonesia won three gold and four silver medals at the 2025 Asian Youth and Junior Weightlifting Championships held in Astana, Kazakhstan, from 4 July 2025 onward.

“We’re extremely proud of the incredible achievements by our young lifters,” said Indonesian Ambassador to Kazakhstan Dr. Fadjroel Rachman on Wednesday (9/7/2025), as quoted by antaranews.com.

Alyamaulida Kartika Pertiwi dominated the women’s 77 kg category, lifting 93 kg in snatch, 116 kg in clean and jerk, and achieving a total of 209 kg—earning her three golds.

Sarah earned three silvers in the women’s 63 kg class with a 93 kg snatch, 120 kg clean and jerk, and 213 kg total. Kevin Andrian Ramadhan added another silver in the men’s 56 kg clean and jerk with 127 kg.

The event featured 450 athletes from 27 countries and marked the debut of the IWF’s new weight categories, effective 1 June 2025.
