Inp.polri.go.id - Batam. A Riau Islands Regional Police officer has won multiple medals at an international bodybuilding tournament in Jakarta, showcasing police professionalism beyond law enforcement duties.
Senior Brigadier Prima Arta Sandy, a member of the Vital Objects Security Unit of the Riau Islands Police, won three titles at the Evolene Indonesia Championship (EIC) 2025 held on 4 and 5 December 2025.
“His achievement proves that discipline and commitment as a police officer can go hand in hand with excellence in sports,” said Riau Police Director of Vital Objects Security Unit Senior Superintendent Rudi Cahya Kurniawan on Sunday (14/12/2025), as cited by antaranews.com.
Competing against around 300 athletes from Indonesia, Russia, Hong Kong, Malaysia, and the Netherlands, Officer Prima placed third in Men’s Physique True Novice Class B, third in Men’s Physique Master 35+, and finished in the top five of Men’s Classic Physique Open Class A.
The EIC, organized with the NPC IFBB Pro League Indonesia, is an international-level fitness and bodybuilding competition. Officer Prima plans to compete in similar events in Bali and Thailand in 2026.
