Inp.polri.go.id - Banjarmasin. The South Kalimantan Regional Police uncovered a major cross-island drug network linked to international drug lord Fredy Pratama, arresting four suspects and seizing 8.7 kilograms of methamphetamine and 10,049 ecstasy pills.

“There are four suspects we arrested, with total evidence reaching 8,711.83 grams of meth, 10,049 ecstasy pills, and 24.14 grams of ecstasy powder," said South Kalimantan Police Narcotics Director Senior SuperintendentKelana Jaya on Monday (28/4/2025), as quoted by antaranews.com.

Suspects SP, HM, MF, and MS were arrested separately between17 and 25  April 17 2025 in Banjarbaru, Banjarmasin, and Banjar District. Police said the group operated under an affiliate of Fredy Pratama, distributing drugs across South and North Kalimantan, West Kalimantan, and the cities of Makassar, Palu, and Kendari in Sulawesi .

The suspects face charges under Article 114(2) of Law No. 35/2009 on Narcotics, with possible 6–20 years’ imprisonment and fines up to Rp 13 billion.
