Inp.polri.go.id – Makassar. Indonesian President Joko Widodo arrived in Makassar on Wednesday (2/21/2024) to begin his working visit in South Sulawesi. In his visit, the president famously called Jokowi scheduled to attend activities aimed to strengthen development and people prosperity. Upon his welcome to South Sulawesi, Jokowi was welcomed by regional government officials which are the Acting Governor of South Sulawesi Bachtiar Baharuddinm Regional Military Commander XIV Hasanuddin, Major General Bobby Rinal Makmun and South Sulawesi Regional Police Chief, Inspector General Andi Rian Ryacudu Djajadi. The Two-Star General says that the visit of President Joko Widodo hopefully would go smoothly and conducive. “I pray that the visit of Mr. President to South Sulawesi would go smoothly and secured,” said Inspector General Andi. “He was greeted warmly across the road from the Airport to the hotel.
