Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Supreme Court (MA) resolved 99.26 percent of its total case burden in 2025, marking a strong performance despite a sharp increase in incoming cases, Chief Justice Sunarto said on Tuesday (30/12/2025).
“Out of a total case load of 38,147, the Supreme Court decided 37,865 cases in 2025,” he said during the Supreme Court’s year-end reflection.
The Chief Justice explained that the case load rose 22.61 percent from 2024, yet productivity remained consistently high, continuing a trend of above 90 percent case resolution over the past eight years. In the last three years, productivity exceeded 98 percent.
He attributed the improvement to digital reforms, particularly the electronic filing of cassation and judicial review cases, which accounted for more than 77 percent of registrations in 2025. He added that over 96 percent of rulings were finalized within three months.
Beyond performance, the Supreme Court also imposed disciplinary sanctions on 192 judicial personnel in 2025, reinforcing monitoring as a corrective and preventive mechanism to protect judicial integrity.
