Inp.polri.go.id – Tanimbar Island. Tanimbar Island Sub-regional Police members involved in Salawaku Mantap Brata Operation conducted dialogue patrol to maintain public safety and security. The patrol, which was conducted in several prone areas, is using persuasive, professional, and humanist approach. Furthermore, the patrol also part of police effort in maintaining security situation post-vote and ensure smooth and safe open plenary meeting for the recapitulation of 2024 election vote at the provincial level. The Head of Tanimbar Island Sub-regional Police Public Relations, First Police Inspector Olof Batalayeri confirms that the dialogue patrol was to ensure security situation post-2024 General Election. “Moreover, the activity is also part of our effort in building public trust, to show them that we are here to protect, guide, and serve them,” said Olof. Olof also states that joint personnel of Mantap Brata Operation Task Force will continue the patrol at different location and places to ensure public safety and order in Tanimbar Island Regency during the plenary meeting. With the collaborative spirit of the police and the people, it is hoped that the situation in Tanimbar Island would remain safe, conducive, and peaceful for all in the regency. (ad/pt/pr/nm)
