"According to PPATK data, total deposits in 2025 reached IDR 36 trillion, down from IDR 51 trillion in 2024," said PPATK Deputy for Analysis and Examination, Danang Trihartono, during a press conference at INP Criminal Investigation Agency Building in South Jakarta on Wednesday (1/7/2026).
He assured that PPATK will continue to collaborate with relevant stakeholders to minimize the value of online gambling.
"We are committed to eradicating online gambling, in line with the Prabowo-Gibran administration's mandate," he explained.
He further stated that PPATK has also observed a shift in deposits, from previously mostly made through accounts or e-wallets. According to him, online gambling players are now making additional deposits using Qris.
