TNI-INP Deploy 13,000 Officers to Secure 2nd IAF Summit in Bali

Inp.polri.go.id  - Denpasar. The Indonesian Military (TNI) and the Indonesian National Police (INP) have mobilized over 13,000 personnel to secire the 2nd Indonesia-Africa Forum (IAF) Summit and High-Level Forum on Multi-Stakeholders Partnership (HLF MSP), scheduled for 1 to 3 September 2024, in Nusa Dua, Bali.

Air Marshal M. Khairil Lubis, the Commander of Joint Regional Defense Command II, said on Friday (30/8/2024) that the security forces include both local personnel and reinforcements from Jakarta, according to antaranews.com. 

The summit is expected to attract seven heads of state, including four presidents, a vice president, and two ministers.

The tactical floor game (TFG) exercise was held to anticipate any potential disruptions during the events. 

Traffic management will be a key focus, with special units deployed to ensure smooth movement for delegates and minimal impact on local residents. The forum will prioritize cooperation in economic transformation, energy, mining, food security, health, and development.
