inp.polri.go.id – Kalteng. The Head of the Central Kalimantan Provincial Police (Kapolda Kalteng), Inspector General Drs. Nanang Avianto, M.Sc., handed over at least 10 boats for flood rescue to five work units. The symbolic handover ceremony was held at the Barigas field at the Central Kalimantan Police Headquarters, on Monday (14/03/22). The Head of Public Relations (Kabid Humas) of the Central Kalimantan Police (Polda Kalteng), Commissioner K. Eko Saputro said the five work units who received the boat assistance were Ditsamapta, Ditpolairud, Satbrimob, Palangka Raya Police and Katingan Police. "Each work unit received 2 boats each," said Kabid Humas Polda Kalteng when interviewed by the reporters. The boat will be used to help evacuate flood victims in their respective areas. "Hopefully, the addition of this boat can be used by them to deal with floods that often hit the Central Kalimantan region," hoped Kabid Humas Polda Kalteng. The addition of these facilities and infrastructure can also enhance mobility in handling flood disasters.
