inp.polri.go.id – The Community Development (Binmas) Task Force of Cartenz Peace Operations continues to intensify the Keladi Sagu program at the airport, Sentani, Jayapura. Ipda Wilhema Kurut, along with members from the Jayapura Command Post and the Medical Team of doctors from Keladi Sagu, brought the medicines and medical equipment with Batik Air airline. The program, which is a health service program for people in remote areas, aims to enhance the public health of Papuans. Head of the medical team Ipda dr. Yoga Arismunandar, along with the team of doctors who were also present, such as Ipda dr. M. Pino Hakim, helped oversee the delivery of medicines and medical equipment. Yoga Arismunandar also confirmed that the purpose of the shipment was part of the support from the government. It was also confirmed that the program is also a police service that is open to the general public in five areas of operation, namely Nduga, Puncak, Intan Jaya, Yahukimo and the Bintang Mountains. It is also hoped that this service can reach the people who are constrained by transportation when they want to go to hospital for a treatment. The Taro Sago Program which is one of the five Binmas Cartenz Peace Ops Task Force Programs in 2022 is a part of direct government involvement in taking care of its people. In this case, through this program, indigenous people of Papua who live in remote areas can improve their health and welfare, said Ipda Wilhema Kurut.
