inp.polri.go.id – The Traffic Directorate (Ditlantas) of Polda Metro Jaya postponed the implementation of the one-way system from the west to KM 47 of the Jakarta-Cikampek toll road on Sunday afternoon. "The implementation of the one-way system to KM 47 has been postponed, because the traffic volume from Central Java and West Java is decreasing this afternoon," said Traffic Director (Dirlantas) of Polda Metro Jaya, commissioner Sambodo Purnomo Yogo in Jakarta, Sunday (8/5/2022). However, Sambodo said that the "contraflow" traffic flow engineering was implemented from KM 66 of the Jakarta-Cikampek toll road to KM 28 so that vehicles heading to Bandung could cross the toll road. Previously, Ditlantas Polda Metro Jaya imposed a traffic closure at the Cawang Toll Road to Cikampek in order to implement a one-way system from KM 442 Semarang Toll Gate to Halim Toll Gate. The implementation of the one-way and contraflow system is carried out according to the traffic flow situation in the field. The Traffic Corps of Police predicts that the peak of the return flow for Eid 2022 on the TransJawa toll road to Jakarta will occur on May 6-8.
