inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Trade Minister reports that currently several cooking oil producers are still in the transitioning to the new price, making the price of MinyaKita has not decreased yet despite the price adjustment.
“They say that as of now they are still transitioning the price,” says the Director General of Domestic Trade Moga Simatupang, on Thursday (8/29/2024).
In his statement, he says that he got the answer after meeting with several cooking oil producers. In those meetings, cooking oil producers asked for time for the distribution.
According to him, the distribution in Java Island can take around a week, while outside Java Island would take around two weeks.
It is worth noting that previously the government has adjusted MinyaKita's Highest Retail Price. Currently its Highest Retail Price is at 15,700 IDR per liter from the previous 14,000 IDR per liter.
