inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs, Pahala Nugraha Manshury says the event of the 2nd Indonesia-Africa Forum Summit in Bali was designed as the catalyst of change, where ideas and concepts are expected to be realized through real action.

The Vice Minister hopes that the forum will not only discuss plans for cooperation between Indonesia and Africa, but also to create concrete plans as the two parties have great potentials that they have to realize.

He explained that the agreements produced in the Indonesia-Africa Forum are deliverables, namely agreements that can be implemented and have a direct impact. The main focus of the forum is economic transformation, energy and mining, food security, health, and development cooperation.

Meanwhile, Rwandan Ambassador to Indonesia Abdul Karim Harerimana said the 2nd IAF Summit would be a forum for exchanging ideas in addressing development challenges.

According to Ambassador Abdul, Rwandan President Paul Kagame will be present and will share his experiences and perspectives from African countries, especially Rwanda, in strengthening international development cooperation. This is expected to further strengthen bilateral relations between Indonesia and Rwanda and African countries as a whole, he said.

IAF is an important platform for Indonesia and African countries to strengthen bilateral relations, formulate strategic steps and make joint efforts in facing increasingly complex global challenges.
