inp.polri.go.id – The Traffic Corps (Korlantas) of the National Police has proposed eliminating fees in the process of changing the name of motorized vehicles (BBN2). This is to made people more aware by changing the name of the owner accordingly.
"We are proposing to the regional government to terminate the fee of BBN2," explained the Director of Registration and Identification of the Traffic Corps, Brigadier General of the Police, Yusri Yunus.
According to Brigadier General Yusri Yunus, currently there are still many people who are reluctant to change the name of the vehicle owner because they are worried about the cost. This makes the owner of the vehicle in the data still in the name of the previous owner.
Moreover, he conveyed that by not changing the name of the vehicle owner, it could affected the ETLE system.
This is due to the identity of the owner who will be registered as the perpetrator is the previous owner of the vehicle.
