inp.polri.go.id - West Sumatra Deputy Chief of Police, Brigadier General of the Police, Edi Mardianto opened the Bhayangkara Security Unit Development (Bhabinkamtibmas) Capacity Building in the ballroom of the Grand Zuri Hotel, Padang, Wednesday (13/07/22). This capacity building has the theme "The Participation of Community along with Bhabinkamtibmas in securing food security, animal health, animal husbandry, warding off intolerance and increasing faith in order to realize National Economic Recovery". Police Brigadier General, Edi Mardianto read out the message from the Head of the West Sumatra Regional Police, regarding various current community problems, especially after the Covid-19 pandemic. Besides that, social problems are still very much developing in the state. In recent years the emergence of radicalism groups such as NII and Khilafatul Muslimin, the issue of mouth and nail disease to the community's livestock which continues to increase, the increase in prices of daily supplies such as cooking oil and chili and other things is still very much happening in the society. Various efforts have been made by the government to restore the national economy, such as providing security guarantees, simplify the licensing process for investors, provide ongoing vaccinations for livestock owned by the community, operate the cooking oil market and others. "No matter how difficult the economic situation is, we must face it together. For that, we need strong and solid faith so that can go through this. Everything that happens now is a test and a trial for us from God and we must be patient in facing it," explained the One-Star General. The Deputy Chief of the West Sumatra Police explained that understanding the respective religion in the Republic of Indonesia and ideology of Pancasila needs to be a concern so as not to be exposed to the radicalism that leads to the collapse of the state. "It is feared that if people are exposed to religious beliefs that are anti-Pancasila, it can destroy the nation," said the Akabri graduate in 1991.
