Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Jakarta Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) reported a fire that engulfed 10 houses in Batu Ceper, Gambir, Central Jakarta on Saturday evening (6/4/2024). "One person suffered respiratory distress as a result of the fire and is already under the care of the Indonesian Red Cross," said Isnawa Adji, the Head of BPBD in Jakarta. According to antaranews.com, a total of 20 households, or 80 individuals, were affected by the fire. The fire is suspected to have been caused by an electrical short circuit. Investigations regarding the sequence of events, losses, and evacuations are ongoing. The Central Jakarta Fire and Rescue Agency has extinguished the fire, which started at 7.36 pm, at around 8.46 pm. (mg/inp/pr/nm)
