20 Police Have Committed Ethical Violations, The National Police Stressed to Investigate Kanjuruhan Tragedy to the Roots

inp.polri.go.id – The National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo announced 20 personnel of police have of committing ethical violations related to the incident at Kanjuruhan Stadium, Malang, East Java. Head of the National Police Public Relations Division, Inspector General Dedi Prasetyo, stressed that the firm decision from the National Police Chief was a commitment from the Bhayangkara Corps institution to complete this case thoroughly. "Since the beginning, the National Police Chief have moved quickly and instructing all ranks of the police to move quickly and thoroughly investigate the incident," said the Head of the Public Relations Division of the National Police, in Jakarta, Friday (7/10). From a criminal perspective, said Dedi, the Police have also named six people as suspects. They are the President Director of PT LIB (AHL), the Head of the Implementing Committee Arema FC (AH), the Head of the Malang Police Ops (Commissioner WSP), the Head of Samapta Malang Police (AKP BSA), the Brimob Company Commander for the East Java Police (AKP H) and the Security Officer (SS). Dedi stated that until now, the team from the Criminal Investigation Department, East Java Police, and Division of Profession and Security of the National Police are still investigating the case by prioritizing the Scientific Crime Investigation (SCI) approach. "Of course the team is still working on the case. We hope that the community will be patient and fully entrust the investigation of this case to us. From the beginning we have been committed to thoroughly investigate this matter," said Dedi Prasetyo. The 20 police personnel suspected of committing ethical violations are; six from Malang Police personnel: FH, WS, BS, BSA, SA, WA, and 14 from East Java Mobile Brigade Task Force: AW, DY, HD, US, BP, AT, CA, SP, MI, MC, YF, TF, MW, and WAL.
