The police arrested 10 (ten) suspects of destroying the ESDM Ministry’s office during the demonstration. Head of the Public Relations Division of the Republic of Indonesia Police, Inspector General of Police Argo Yuwono, revealed that of the 10 (ten) suspects, 8 (eight) of them were still minors. “The Directorate of General Crime Criminal Investigation Agency of the Republic of Indonesia Police with the Regional Police of Metro Jaya immediately worked, checked for 3 days and we immediately found it. It was done technically by investigators and revealed we found 10 (ten) suspects, we showed 2 (two) because (eight) are still underage, “said Argo at a press conference at the Metro Jaya Regional Police, Monday (12/10/2020). According to Argo, the underage suspect was not detained. Meanwhile, the suspect was caught in a multi-layered article. “We are wearing Article 28 paragraph (2) in conjunction with Article 45 of the ITE Law. Also because we found that there were words inviting them to carry out, demonstrations in Jakarta, and also Article 170 of the Criminal Code (KUHP) that damaged goods, Article 214 of the Criminal Code (KUHP), Article 218 KUHP and or Article 358 KUHP in conjunction with Articles 55 and 56 KUHP, “said Argo. In the case of the destruction of the ESDM Ministry Building, the evidence that was secured was stone, wood, broken bottles, cell phones. On the other hand, Argo ensured that the police would continue to look for other suspects in this case. According to him, the suspect will not stop at 10. “So we also do not stop here, these 10 (ten) suspects, if later there are other suspects we will arrest them and we will process them and submit them to the public prosecutor,” concluded Argo
