inp.polri.go.id - Riau. Riau Regional Police Chief, Inspector General Mohammad Iqbal announced that his party has seized a total of 87.686 kg of crystal methamphetamine and 51,882 ecstasy pills from a busted drug international ring.

In a press conference held at Riau Regional Police HQ, Iqbal gives his highest appreciation to the Bengkalis Sub-regional Police Chief, Superintendent Budi Setiawan, Drug Criminal Investigation Unit Chief, First Police Inspector Donny Binsar, and the team who have busted the drug trafficking operations.

“I am truly amazed by the Bengkalis Sub-regional Police Chief, Drug Criminal Investigation Unit Chief, and the team,” appreciated Iqbal.

Iqbal emphasized that the case uncovering is a truly significant achievement and said that in his three years of leading Riau Regional Police, this case disclosure is the most impressive for him.

He adds that the international drug ring was uncovered meticulously and professionally, incorporating a solid cooperation with related institutions such as Customs and BNN.
