As academics, the Two-Star General asked students to be intellectual and professional in conveying their aspirations and maintain the purity of their demonstrations, as well as providing effective solutions. "We want the demonstrations to present a concept or solution. Not an anarchic act presented by some irresponsible individuals," said the Akabri graduate in 1988. The Aceh Regional Police Chief ensures that the Police are ready to safeguard the demonstrations and will provide services and security with humanist approach to the demonstrators. "Expressing our opinions in public is not wrong as long as it goes according to the rules," said Inspector General Ahmad. The police also continue to coordinate with the Army and other related institutions to anticipate other demonstrations regarding the increase in fuel price.
