Inp.polri.go.id – Bali. The Law Enforcement Task Force Cyber Patrol of Bali Regional Police Mantap Brata Operation intensifies as the 2024 election campaigns in social media rocketed. The patrol was confirmed by Cyber Sub-task Force, Superintendent Nanang Prihasmoko at Bali Regional Police Special Criminal Investigation Directorate monitoring center. “The patrol will be intensified continuously to prevent public security disturbances through hoax, misinformation or provocative contents that negatively impact our society. Later on, our findings will be compiled and further processed to prevent cyber criminals during elections,” says Nanang. Nanang continued that the reports on hoax news and hazardous contents will be prosecuted in collaboration with Election Supervisory Body (Bawaslu). In maintaining security situation, people implored not to easy swayed and spread hoax news. “Instead, you could report them to the police and rest assured no one will know who report it. Let us be wise in social media and create Bali that is free from hoax to realize safe 2024 General Election,” conclude Nanang. (ad/bg/pr/nm
