inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Chairman of the Indonesian Election Supervisory Body (Bawaslu) Rahmat Bagja said that his party is collaborating with the Indonesian National Police (INP) to conduct large-scale patrols in order to prevent the practice of money politics from recurring, especially in the election of regional heads.

"We are working together with our friends in the police to conduct large-scale patrols to combat money politics," said Rahmat Bagja, quoted by Antaranows in Palopo City, South Sulawesi, Saturday (5/24/2025).

Meanwhile, Bagja on Saturday directly monitored the re-vote (PSU) for the Palopo City election. This voting is a follow-up to the Constitutional Court's decision to disqualify one of the Palopo mayoral candidates due to the controversy over the authenticity of his diploma.

Although the PSU in Palopo City is not related to money politics, Bagja still appealed to the South Sulawesi Bawaslu and Palopo City to monitor any potential for such illicit practices.
