"It requires vigilant eyes from all segments of society, including rural youth. This lengthy process, with limited election supervisors, requires vigilant eyes from many people," said Bawaslu Commissioner Lolly Suhenty in her statement on Thursday (5/10/2023). She emphasized that Bawaslu must ensure that all stages proceed smoothly, meaning that the process is correct and follows the procedures. The Commissioner asserted that rural youth should not just be spectators in the 2024 elections but should also actively participate as actors in the process. "In any election, whoever we are and whatever our background, our votes have the same value because our voices are equal, so let's not just be bystanders.
