In a significant development, the Directorate of Narcotics Crimes at the Indonesian National Police's Criminal Investigation Department linked  Zulkifli, the lead vocalist of the Zivilia band, in the international drug network led by Fredy Pratama. According to Brigadier General Mukti Juharsa, the Director of the Narcotics Crimes Division, their investigation has uncovered compelling evidence suggesting that Zulfikli, also known as Zul Zivilia, was an integral part of Fredy Pratama's drug network. "It is indisputable that Zul is intricately linked to Fredy Pratama. The seized evidence unequivocally belongs to Fredy Pratama," he said on  Thursday (5/10/2023). The Director went on to provide details of Zulkifli's role in the distribution of narcotics on behalf of Fredy Pratama. He was alleged to have trafficked a staggering 23,000 ecstasy pills and 30 kilograms of shabu (methamphetamine) prior to hisarrest in March 2019.  Zulkifli served as a key courier for Fredy Pratama in the eastern region of Indonesia, specifically Sulawesi Selatan, for a period of approximately six months. The Director disclosed that after Zulkifli's arrest and subsequent imprisonment, he continued to receive financial support from Fredy Pratama for eight months, with a monthly allowance of IDR 4 million.  Fredy Pratama is currently at large. "He continued to receive financial support from Fredy Pratama from behind prison walls. During his seven-month incarceration, he received a total of eight monthly payments, each amounting to IDR 4 million," the Director said. (mg/ay/hn/nm)
