Inp.polri.go.id - Kupang. Juliati Sigit Prabowo, the Chairperson of Bhayangkari, visited Kupang City Sub-regional Police on Saturday (9/11/2024), delivering humanitarian aid to local communities.
Welcomed with a traditional “Natoni” greeting and Rote dance, she was joined by Nusa Tenggara Timur (NTT) Bhayangkari Chair Ny. Kathy DTM Silitonga and local officials.
The visit was part of the Bhayangkari Peduli program, which aims to support underserved communities. Bhayangkari is the official organization for the wives of members of the Indonesian National Police (INP).
Chairperson Juliati distributed essential aid packages, including food supplies, stunting prevention kits, and school supplies for those in need.
“This program is our way of supporting communities facing difficult challenges. We hope these contributions ease their daily needs, aid in preventing child stunting, and support educational efforts,” she said.
Residents warmly welcomed the initiative, expressing gratitude for Bhayangkari’s assistance. Bhayangkari representatives also engaged directly with community members, reinforcing their commitment to supporting welfare and assisting in government efforts to address stunting and economic hardships.
