Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The National Narcotics Agency (BNN) has arrested Dewi Astutik, also known as Mami, a major trafficker linked to the Golden Triangle network and a close associate of Indonesian drug kingpin Fredy Pratama.
She was arrested in Sihanoukville, Cambodia, through a coordinated operation with local authorities and Indonesia’s defence attaché, before being flown to Jakarta on Tuesday (2/12/2025).
“This operation succeeded because of strong inter-agency and international cooperation,” BNN Chief Commissioner General Suyudi Ario Seto said, as quoted by antaranews.com
Dewi, who is also wanted by South Korea, had frequently moved across countries to evade detection. She was detained while heading to a hotel lobby and later transferred to Phnom Penh for verification before deportation.
Investigators are now probing her financial and logistics network and are searching for a male suspect believed to be linked to her operations. The inquiry aims to uncover the syndicate tied to major narcotics cases in 2024–2025.
