inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The National Counterterrorism Agency (BNPT) facilitates reconciliation between survivors or victims of terrorism with former terrorists who have participated in the deradicalization program.
"This reconciliation program is an important momentum in building a peaceful narrative. We want to build peaceful communication, respect, and forgiveness," said Deputy 1 for Prevention, Protection, and Deradicalization of BNPT RI Major General TNI Roedy Widodo, Friday (20/9/24).
According to him, the national gathering between survivors and deradicalization partners aims to foster bonds of brotherhood and forgive past mistakes.
He explained that BNPT is present as a representative of the state in an effort to support recovery and healing for survivors, as well as build better relationships with former perpetrators of terrorism.
