Inp.polri.go.id – Bogor. Bogor Sub-regional Police prepares 4,000 personnel to anticipate conflicts across polling stations in Bogor, West Java. Police Superintendent Rio Wahyu Anggoro, Bogor Sub-regional Police Chief explains that the security operations would be in collaboration with the military, West Java Sub-regional Police Mobile Brigade, civil service police Unit to community guardians. “We will not take any chances as we consider every polling station has the same vulnerability. We will do our security operations equally in every regions to prevent any disruptions,” says the police chief on Monday (1/15/2024). The General Election Commission (KPU) of Bogor have set there are 15,228 polling stations in 40 regencies. The security operations itself have been conducted since the election phase began. The Indonesian National Police Chief have also designed a special security operations with the codename of Mantap Brata Operation held for 222 days. (ad/ay/pr/nm)
