BUMN Ministry Pushed for Better Employee Mental Health and Workplace

Inp.polri.go.id – Jakarta. The State-owned Enterprise (BUMN) Minister Erick Thohir pushed his party to be the pioneer in improving mental health at BUMN offices. The minister Erick Thohir through his special staff, Arya Sinulingga conveys that employee psychological conditions is the key of company productivity and sustainability. Arya continued that private companies has already did the initiative as millennials and gen z have become the core foundations of human resources for the future of Indonesia. “The 2024 Golden Indonesia will be dominated by millennials and gen z. They will be the one who govern the country in driving the economy forward. With prime mental conditions and comfortable work environments, we are sure that the productivity and quality of the company would significantly improve,” explains Arya on Monday (1/15/2024). According to World Population Review Indonesia data, more than 9 million of depression case are reported which mostly from millennials and gen z. “This has caught the attention of Minister Erick in facing mental health issue as 68% of BUMN employees are the millennials and gen z,” conclude Arya.
